2008 ELECTION:
Justin Timberlake to help register voters at Obama rally
Fri, Oct 10, 2008 (7:01 p.m.)
UPDATE: Justin Timberlake hosts ‘Last Chance for Change’ rally
If you'd like to see a Grammy- and Emmy-award winner — and register to vote at the same time — you can do so Saturday in Las Vegas.
Justin Timberlake will be the headliner for a voter registration drive and a Barack Obama presidential campaign rally Saturday at the Clark County Amphitheater, 500 South Grand Central Parkway.
Gates open at 10 a.m. for the “Last Chance for Change” Rally and Canvass Kick-Off, which is free to the public.
The government center is one of only two sites in Clark County available for voter registration Saturday. (See earlier story.)
The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 14 in person at a county office. Early voting starts Oct. 18.
New volunteers who sign up to help Obama's campaign at the event will automatically be included in a drawing for a photo with Justin Timberlake, according to Kirsten Searer, Nevada communications director.
