- Henderson Police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a man whose body was discovered in a desert area south of the Henderson Executive Airport Friday morning. The man was wearing a white polo shirt with horizontal red and green stripes and Sean John brand pants. He was also wearing a Pro Club brand tank-top undershirt and Ralph Lauren Polo boxer shorts, police said.

- A local task force has arrested nine people in the past four weeks on child pornography charges, including one man charged with sexual seduction and use of a minor in producing pornography. Metro Police, Henderson Police and the FBI have teamed up on the task force to serve search warrants and arrest five people in Henderson and four in Las Vegas who are involved in child pornography.

- A Las Vegas construction worker died at the Hoover Dam bypass bridge project on Monday. The Clark County coroner's office said 48-year-old Sherman Jones's death was accidental. The cause of his death was lacerations on his chest and heart and liver lacerations due to blunt force trauma injuries, the coroner said.

- A 22-year-old man, Fidel R. Apolinar, has been jailed without bail in connection with the death of a young woman whose body Metro Police found in an apartment near Paradise and Desert Inn roads on Sunday.
