It's one thing for coaches and teammates to tell Wink Adams, 'Hey, just keep shooting, you'll snap out of it.' But it's a different feeling in the shoes of UNLV's senior guard, who after hitting just two of his 11 shots in Saturday's 67-65 loss to Cincinnati in the Global Sports Classic went a combined 5-of-25 from the floor over the weekend.

Just when UNLV looked like it was turning the offensive corner Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center, Cincinnati showed up one final time, with a key 8-0 run late which propelled the Bearcats to a 67-65 victory over the host Rebels in the Global Sports Classic. UNLV went 0-2 on the weekend, is now 5-2 on the season and travels for road games twice this week - Wednesday night at Fresno State, then Saturday at UNR.

Just after California exited the Thomas & Mack Center floor Friday night having aced its game, defeating host UNLV 73-55 in the Global Sports Classic, Cincinnati (4-1) failed its in an ugly 58-47 loss to Florida State.
