"Any woman who asks for equality deserves the demotion." Oscar Wilde
What's qualified mean? Intelligence, temperament, thoughtfulness, the vision thing? After 21 months, who can doubt Obama is not qualified? Has anyone else shown more ability?
This election has shown more brain-damage than a Cat scan.
The Review-Journal specifically pointed out that "Lefty" was a righty. The Sun says he was a lefty.
Always orthodox, even in obits. lol
True, he does. He thinks adults should be able to do what they like in their own homes with their own money on their own computers. A priority of Barney Frank is to get the govt out of peoples' business.
Many people play poker online for fun. They aren't pros. They aren't even very good. But they have fun.
Notice the buyin for the charity tournament in Jeff's article above. $50 with $20 rebuys. You can buy into a tournament online for $3.
Thanks, Jeff, for the article. And thanks very much to the Sun for covering the fight of Barney Frank and the Poker Players Alliance for restoring our right to play.

A very well-written and comprehensive article. My highest compliments. All I can add for a comment is I am a poker player in the Valley. I play nearly every day, and poker is all I play. Poker players aren't really gamblers in the traditional sense. We are playing a game which requires a very high degree of skill, knowledge and practice to become a very good player. I played online poker for several years, and was the primary reason for my move to Las Vegas. I also work in a part of the poker industry and have seen the industry as a whole greatly diminished by the UIGEA.
No one should have the ability to make decisions for adults. What I do in my own home on my own computer with my own money is my business and no one else's. That is the crux of our argument for online poker. It is our hope that the new Congress and Administration will take a new look at our game.
