You're putting Obama in a no-win situation. You want to complain that he's bringing in people with previous Washington experience. Yet look what happened with Carter, who brought in people that did not have previous Washington experience. And you tend to complain about him as well. Which way do you want it?

uddeboda: I concur. All we seem to do is reward their incompetence. If they let the situation get this bad, they should be fired. For that matter, Paulson should have been ousted immediately. We keep allowing the same idiots to repeat their trillion-dollar mistakes. And we worry about socialism?

KDR81: I am not on a 12-month contract, so technically, I don't "get summers off" and such. My work hours are 6 a.m. until the job is done. And for what, exactly, do you require prep time? Who says we are exempt from the rules everyone else follows? What, specifically, are those rules? And I, too, pay taxes. There are other people "on my dime" as well. Including teachers and those who, like you, plan to collect social security, medicare, and so on.
