And there are some who voted for Halverson as a protest to those who ran against her.
We have some of the most ignorant, idiotic judges in the country right here in Las Vegas.
And some of them were appointed, not elected.
"Any journalist (and probably any attorney) can tell you about the person who perceives himself as a victim of injustice. Too often they are dismissed by the media and opposing counsel as crazy."
This comment really tells the story. These people are dismissed as crazy before any journalist or attorney even does any research.
The sad fact of the matter is that many people do not get "justice" in our courts.
Our courts are too focused on "rules" and not focused enough on "truth"
Don't the republicans get it, I don't see lower taxes and less government.
I see more taxes and a larger government than ever.
They didn't stick to their own policies.
And, on top of that, they supported and voted with a president that lied to the citizenry.
That cannot be forgiven.
With the religulous litmus test it is near impossible to have a true seperation of church and state. Obama had great success in Chicago working within the Church system organizing activism. I fear these tools will be brought to bear on society in a much larger way in this administration. It may be a little soon to celebrate.

Kephart is a snake, as are many of the prosecutors so coveted by David Roger. I was very thankful that he was not elected judge. No one should be rewarded for doing a terrible job upholding justice and doing a great job keeping the truth out of the courtroom.
I hope a viable candidate runs against David Roger when his term is up.
Kephart has been sanctioned by the courts, and the NV Supreme Court has named a disease after him. It is Kephart's disease and it refers to the action of talking so loudly at the prosecutions table that the jury can't help but hear him, and the jury is then influenced by the comments.
He doesn't prosecute crimes, he persecutes and defames the defendant.
I'd like to see the likes of him gone, too. That is not what justice is supposed to be.
