From a European to you Rolf, its go to hear some friendly words now and then.
TXART,
Very true what you say, there IS more to life than just things.
What you say, is very similar to letting a child run free in a toy store, want, want, want.
Still, the truth is happening now, about how much life is really worth
CMON,
Its true what you say, but the problem in many cases I'm sure, is that the parents have had very little education themselves, and are unable to judge or help or guide their children, or perhaps just dont care a s##t.
A very good friend of mine over here, has 2 boys, well they are grown up now, but whenever we were visiting them, the children were never to be seen only at meal times, they were studying or reading. One is now chief architect for a big city and the other doctor. The childrens parents were a psychologist and chief environmental officer. It usually "rubs off" on to the children
I have an even better suggestion for ANY bailout plan.
First of all, when large sums of government funds are injected into any business, all the top executives MUST be removed, without any golden handshake or lifetime pension plan.
The shareholders are to receive absolutely NO dividends.
Only able and responsible people from the government should be there to oversee operations.

Across the world, whether it be a capitalistic, socialistic or a communistic country, its just one thing, and pardon my "french", its all to do with greed, like ""pigs in s##t"". These highly placed people are all just scoffing around for the best bits of "swill"
